What this site is

EstadoNieve (https://estadonieve.com) is a free information service that brings together, for more than five hundred ski resorts in twenty-six countries, the snow report, the status of runs and lifts, live webcams, the state of the access roads and the weather forecast, taken from public sources and presented in nine languages. Accessing and using the site implies acceptance of this legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

What we are not

• We are not a ski resort and we have no relationship with any of them, with the companies that operate them, with their associations or with the public bodies whose data we display. Resort names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
• We do not sell lift passes, lessons, accommodation or any other service, nor do we act as an intermediary in their sale.
• We are not an official traffic or weather information service.

The information is indicative only

Data are collected automatically, every few minutes or hours depending on the source, and published as they arrive. They may therefore be out of date, incomplete or wrong: a source may go down, change its format or stop publishing out of season, and a webcam may show an old image. Every figure carries the time at which it was read.

Always check conditions on the resort's own website or official channels before setting off. Webcams and traffic information are an aid: they do not replace official information or the real conditions on the road and the mountain, nor do they exempt you from carrying the mandatory equipment.

Intellectual property

EstadoNieve's own texts, translations, the selection and arrangement of the content, the database structure, the code and the design belong to its owner and are protected by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of 12 April, which approves the consolidated text of the Intellectual Property Act. Third-party data, images and webcams belong to their owners and are reproduced under the licences or conditions stated on the sources page.

You may freely share links to any page and quote short excerpts citing the source. Total or partial reproduction of the content for commercial purposes without the owner's written permission is prohibited.

Automated data extraction

The use of robots, spiders, scrapers or any other automated means to systematically extract, copy or store the content of this site (reports, run and lift status, webcam lists, texts, translations and any other structured data) without the owner's prior written permission is prohibited. This prohibition does not apply to search engine crawlers that respect the robots.txt file, nor to the original data, which you can obtain directly from each source. Breaches may lead to access being blocked and to the actions provided for in the legislation on intellectual property and the legal protection of databases (Articles 133 et seq. of Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996).

Liability

The owner takes reasonable steps to keep the information correct and up to date, but does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency, and is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it, for damage arising from the use of the site or from its unavailability, or for the content of third-party sources. In particular, the owner accepts no responsibility for the actual state of runs, lifts, roads, car parks and services; for the routes, itineraries and activities shown; for weather, avalanche or traffic warnings and alerts, or their absence; for opening times, prices and openings; for webcam images; or for any damage, accident, delay, expense or loss arising from reliance on any of those data. Anyone who decides to travel, ski or undertake a mountain activity does so at their own sole risk. Links to the websites of resorts, public bodies or other third parties are provided as a convenience; we do not control their content or their terms. If you spot an error, content that infringes rights or a broken link, write to help@estadonieve.com and we will review it promptly.

Changes

The owner may change this legal notice, the site and its content at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of the place where the site owner is domiciled.
